Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin Debut Together on NBC's 'Today' Show

Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music stopped NBC's 'TODAY' Show to perform live on the 3rd Hour of  playing the song, “Kingdom” off their new album “Kingdom Book One.”

Additionally, on 'TODAY', Franklin and Maverick City Music co-founders Tony Brown and Jonathan Jay discussed the thinking behind Maverick City Music; specifically how the genre-transcending group continues to pave the path for minority representation in the world of gospel music and beyond, and the process behind the creation of their latest album, which took place in a Florida prison.

Currently, Maverick City Music and Franklin are headlining arenas on their Kingdom Tour, which has shattered multiple records since the 37-date trek kicked off in June.
